| Ha!
See, I promised I'd update again before I leave! I'm so proud of myself! :)
So yeah, I'm just going crazy here trying to be organized! Every time I try to start packing, I can't think of what I need, and then when I'm doing something totally different, I'm like, "oh yeah, and I need this, this, and that, etc..." But I'm sure it will all work out fine. I have enough contacts, deoderant, and toothpaste to last a month, so really, what else do you need? LoL!!!
Last night I went with Tena to see The Terminal, the new Tom Hanks movie. EVERYONE GO SEE IT!!! That was one of the sweetest movies I've seen in a long time! Tom Hanks' character is just so sweet and naive and lovable, and it was just an awesome movie. I laughed, I cried...no really, I did. So yeah, that's definitely a must see.
Well, now I'm eating Key Lime cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory...for breakfast...and then in about 15 minutes, I'm headed to the dentist! Sounds like a great plan, yeah? LoL!
Ah, but anyway, if I don't write again before I leave for England, then good bye, have a great month, and I'll talk to you in late July!!!
I'm off to the United Kingdom...God Save the Queen!
| Five days and counting!!!
Yes, that's right, folks! Five days till I leave on my mission trip! I'm soooo excited. I'll be flying down to Georgia on the 23rd, and then we're leaving for the UK on the 29th and going to Dublin. We'll stay there until the 9th of July, and then we're flying into Manchester, where we'll stay until the 22nd when we come back home. I'll have a big long update when I get back. Please keep me and the team I'm going with in your prayers.
Today was my last day of work. Crystal, my favorite patient, brought me a Good Luck Care Bear! It's sooooo cute! And she gave me a really super sweet card. She and a select few others are the only people I think I'm really going to miss. I will miss Kurt because he brought us in Krispy Kremes every time he came in...lol...oh yeah, and he was a really nice guy, too.
Well, anyway, it's late and I want to watch a movie and fall asleep. Methinks it sounds like a good plan.
Alrighty, then. Good night everyone.
-Danna :)
PS-I'll be sure to update before I leave for the month!
| Hey, y'all!
Wow, don't know where that came from! Well, actually I do...it's from that Mark Schultz song I'm listening to...see above. The liner notes on the CD for "The Legend of McBride" are great...something like: "I wrote this song around a campfire about a man who never lived in a town that never existed, and a fire that never happened. So, yeah, it's pretty close to my heart." Hehe!
So how was everyone's holiday weekend? Any nice picnics or anything? If you live anywhere near me, I hope your plans didn't get rained out! I planned on walking out to my car, but decided against it. Haha, j/k. Anyway, I didn't do anything fun...I was quite busy, but nothing fun.
Well, I did plan my wedding, so that was fun...haha, not like I'm getting married! I'm going to have a great wedding though! LoL...yeah, I needed a creative outlet, so I planned a totally awesome fairy tale wedding at Disneyworld. As soon as I find a guy, you'll get your invitations. But we digress...
And now, we interrupt this program for a message from our sponsors...well, okay, not really, but I do have a little plug for Chapter 6...as I wrote before, they're the a cappella (no instruments, just voices) group that I went to see in California...the ones who won the national competiton. Well, their newest CD, Swing Shift, is now available for purchase, so if you'd be interested in hearing some National A cappella champions, just cruise on over to http://chapter6.com/cart/ to pick up your copy! Here's what it looks like...
Okay, and now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
Uh...well, it's like 1:30, so I guess I'm actually going to go to bed anyway...lol...a few personal notes:
Gwen: I miss you! I'll call you when I have a free second and we'll go see that movie...what were we going to see? My brain hurts.
Dani: I love you, sweetie! Seriously call me and we'll hang out!
Ashley: Ditto to Dani's note!
Ali: Feel better, babe! I hope this isn't as complex as last time...I'm praying for you.
Hanah: Can you say "CARIBOU"?!?!?
Everyone else: I love you all...talk to you later!

| Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in, like, forever! But I've been totally swamped with stuff to do. Okay, I only have a few minutes, but here's the main stuff:
My London trip for school has been pushed to January or perhaps maybe even next summer. Once I started thinking realistically, I figured there was no way I could be ready to move two weeks after getting back from my mission trip.
Um...new hair...more layers and highlights, as shown in the picture. It's not usually wavy like that though.
Ooh, Chapter 6 won the National Harmony Sweepstakes a cappella competition! We went to California to see the show, and they totally won! Score!!!
Okay, that's the really short and condensed version, but I'll write more later...thanks Kennarino for your concern...yes, I am still alive!

| My cat smells like parmesan cheese...what the...
My mom and I saw the Return of the King today, so that makes it seven times for me...four more to go. I want to see it a total of 11 times because that's how many Academy awards it won.
Okay, big news of the day, I've been accepted to American InterContinental University in London, England!!! I'm so excited! I'll be moving there and starting school (I'm studying interior design) in August! I can't believe how excited I am!!! Score! And when I finish, I will have an American degree and a British degree! How awesome is that? Just imagine having this to look at out my window

Um yeah, I'm liking that!
Anyway, I'm really wiped...I'm finally feeling better...I've been sick all stinking weekend long. Blech...but now it's back to work tomorrow...which i'm actually amost glad of because it will be nice to be up and doing stuff again. Good night, all!
